It's that time of year again! Get your costumes and candy buckets ready to have fun at, arguably, the most unique trick-or-treat event in the area!
It's this year's Zoo Boo! Zoo Boo will be held at the Erie Zoo this Thursday, October 18th through Tuesday, October 30th. The event will run from 6-9pm every night. Zoo workers say the event is 'scary, but not too scary,' making it fun for all ages.
Emily Walsh tells us, 'Don’t forget to say, 'hello' to the Talking Pumpkin and visit the troll who will be guarding the Children’s Zoo Bridge! There will be crafts, rides, entertainment, and of course, everyone’s favorite; trick-or-treating!' Children ages 12 and under will get to trick-or-treat at booths set up throughout the Eerie Zoo grounds.
All are encouraged to come wearing their costumes to show off their Halloween spirit. Saturday the 20th & 27th the Zoo will open at 2:00pm for daytime ZooBoo hours. It’s Juno ticket time. Tickets for the 2019 Juno Awards, which will be held in London next year, went on sale at 10 a.m. The event will be held March 17 at the Budweiser Gardens.
This is the first time the Forest City will play host of the event, which celebrates the best in Canadian music. Tickets are available starting at $79.95. Tickets for the Juno Cup, a celebrity fundraising hockey game in support MusiCounts, a music education charity, will also be available for purchase on Friday.
