The result of this collaboration is the Scheps 73 plug-in that features a three-band equalizer and a high-pass filter with a 18dB/octave slope. Waves and Scheps also modeled the 10kHz midrange band originally discovered on the 1073 but that was only useable on the 1078 channel strip. Along with the EQ, you can also adjust the right/left channels of the preamp and add saturation thanks to the emulation of the 1073 Marinair transformer and the tweaks applied by Scheps himself. Last, Waves added to the plug-in it Mid/Side processing matrix so that you can apply two different EQ to the Mid and Side of the stereo tracks.

Thanks to all these features, you can use the Scheps 73 plug-in during recording, mixing and mastering phases.
