Hi there I've use VStudio Pro for a while. Usually with Thai locale and characters. Most of them work very well esp Thai sorting. But one thing that really make report not quite correct is how it display the vowels characters incorrectly.

• Th Sarabun Font

From the attached image, the left hand side is the report preview in HTML format. Look at the green arrow, the ligature feature (from unicode font) work correctly.

It pull the vowel character down one level. On another hands, the right hand side is the report preview in PDF format. The red arrow show the vowel character 'float' incorrectly. And in some font, it just always pulled down and may overlaps with other vowels. What I really looking for is to see the PDF preview work correctly like HTML one. Usb video capture for mac. This problem is applied to embeded report tool (I tried with Xojo only) Also, it should be the same problem if you test with other feature in some languages like 'f + i - fi', 'a+e - ae'.

I'm very sorry for my incomplete example previously. The different result from both fonts may be from 'default' behavior of it. But at the end it should be display correctly, compare to what they behave in many software that can work with them. I'm sure that the problem is still related to ligature features.

จากปัญหาทั้งสอง ทำให้มีผู้พัฒนาฟอนต์ TH Sarabun IT๙ เพื่อช่วยอำนวยความสะดวกในการพิมพ์ตัวเลขอารบิค แล้วจะทำการแปลงเป็นตัวเลขไทยอัตโนมัติ (เท่าที่ทราบ ฟอนต์ TH Sarabun IT๙ ที่พัฒนาขึ้นนั้น ไม่ได้ถูกกำหนดใน 13 ฟอนต์มาตรฐาน) จากปัญหาดังกล่าวนี้เอง ทำให้เอกสารที่พิมพ์ขึ้นโดยใช้ ฟอนต์ TH Sarabun IT๙ ไม่สามารถนำไปเปิดได้อย่าถูกต้องกับเครื่องที่ไม่ได้ติดตั้ง ฟอนต์ TH Sarabun IT๙ ไว้ การแก้ปัญหาเบื้องต้น ก็คือ ไฟล์ติดตั้ง ฟอนต์ TH Sarabun IT๙ ไปติดตั้งในเครื่อง (แต่ฟอนต์ TH Sarabun IT๙ ไม่ได้ถูกกำหนดใน 13 ฟอนต์มาตรฐาน). ต่อมา มีข่าวดีสำหรับแฟนๆ ฟอนต์ TH Sarabun PSK ทุกท่าน เนื่องจาก SIPA ร่วมกับ กรมทรัพย์สินทางปัญญา ได้ร่วมกันแก้ไขสัญญาอนุญาตฟอนต์ TH Sarabun ตัวนี้ใหม่เป็น GPL 2.0 + Font exception เพื่อให้เป็นฟอนต์ที่เสรียิ่งขึ้น พร้อมกันนี้ก็ได้แก้ไขจุดบกพร่องต่างๆ ที่มีใน TH Sarabun PSK ตัวเดิมเรียบร้อยแล้ว และขอให้นำไปใช้กันได้อย่างสะดวกขึ้น โดยสามารถดาวน์โหลด ฟอนต์ TH Sarabun New ได้ที่ สรุปแล้ว ผมเองก็ได้ติดตั้งไว้ทุกฟอนต์ แหละครับ แต่ส่วนตัวผมจะไม่สร้างเอกสารโดยใช้ฟอนต์ Sarabun IT๙ แล้วส่งให้กับผู้อื่น สำหรับบทความนี้ ผมขอแนะนำให้ ชาว สป.วท. ใช้ฟอนต์ที่เป็นมาตรฐานร่วมกัน สิ่งใดที่ไม่ได้ถูกกำหนดในมาตรฐานก็น่าจะหลีกเลี่ยง เพื่อผู้ที่ได้รับไฟล์เอกสารที่เราส่งไป จะได้ไม่ต้องแก้ไข และยังทำให้เอกสารของเราสามารถเปิดใช้งานได้ตรงกันทั้งผู้ส่งและผู้รับ. ท่านสามารถดาวน์โหลด 13 ฟอนต์ เป็นมาตรฐานได้. ท่านสามารถดาวน์โหลด ฟอนต์ TH Sarabun New ได้ที่. อ่านสัญญาอนุญาตให้ใช้งานและดูตัวอย่างฟอนต์. ดูวิธีการติดตั้งฟอนต์ ในส่วนของการติดตั้งฟอนต์ ผมขอนำบทความเรื่อง “วิธีติดตั้งฟอนต์” จากเพื่อนๆ สมาชิกเว็บ F0nt.com เพื่อให้เพื่อนๆชาว สป.วท.
