The sooner DOS dies the better! It is a barnacle on the good ship of progress and should have been scrapped off years ago. Yes it could have been upgraded for 32 or 64 bit PCs but MS realized it was not worth the effort. If you have a serious use of a PC you can’t beat the Windows/MAC interface. If you write programs for DOS, you often spend the first day just writing the user interface.
