Caitlyn Jenner and MAC are in business! They’ve launched a rose-colored lipstick, called Finally Free, which caters to “All Ages, All Races, and All Sexes.” All proceeds will benefit the MAC AIDS Fund Transgender Initiative, which helps improve transgender communities countrywide. The I Am Cait star hinted she had something up her sleeve yesterday on Twitter: “Some days I just gotta sayI love that I’m finally free to be me. #TransIsBeautiful” following up today with, “Oh, and another thing.

I’m excited that I’m finally free to talk about my next adventure #staytuned.” The 66-year-old has been a champion of the transgender community ever since her revealing Vanity Fair cover last year, which won an FMA for. Last year, Jenner nabbed an award herself, the ESPY Arthur Ashe Courage Award.

We’ll be keeping an eye on her Twitter—this surely isn’t the last collab we’ll be seeing. Since its inception in 2003, The Daily Front Row and fashionweekdaily.com have been speaking directly to fashion's A-list insiders wherever they are—the front rows and runways of Fashion Week, the backyards of their Hamptons summer homes, their New York abodes, and their chicest travel destinations. The Daily is the only multichannel media brand that legitimately influences the influencers, 365 days a year. Experts agree: “You haven’t really made it in fashion until you’ve made it into The Daily!”.

As soon as the release of MAC Finally Free Lipstick $17, available was announced, I was feeling anxious to see what color it’s going to be. Caitlyn seems to prefer old Hollywood glamour and classic silhouettes in her personal style, so I thought her shade would be some kind of a darker cool-toned red, maybe in line with MAC Diva Antics. But when we got the shade preview, I oohed and aahed about if for an hour, because Finally Free turned out to be a lovely brownish rose, perfect for everyday wear! J ust so you know, I would have been totally okay if it was a special occasion-only color, too, because I was going to buy it anyway to support the cause. However, it makes me so much happier knowing that I can wear it every day, and feel good about doing so.

On their website MAC described Finally Free as a mid-tone rosey nude in Cremesheen formula. What makes this lipstick so special is the cause – 100% of the price is donated directly to MAC AIDS Fund Transgender Initiative. That’s right, MAC is not making any money on Finally Free, and instead using the Kardashian clan influence to help support the transgender community.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a company donate the entire value of the product to charity before, so MAC is the first one on my memory. If you know of any other beauty companies that do this, please let me know in the comments – I am always happy to support a selfless business model, if it’s within my spending budget.

Like other cremesheens, MAC Finally Free was a pleasure to use. This particular formula is known for it’s glossy finish on the lips and nourishing buttery feel. That butteriness makes the wear time shorter than matte and semi-matte MAC lipsticks, but it feels so much more comfortable, so you’ll have to figure out if the trade off is worth it for you. I personally like lippies in all kinds of finishes, so I’m okay with 3-4 hours of wear before I need to reapply. MAC Finally Free Lipstick is an online exclusive Limited Edition release, and you can purchase it at.
